Who we are
Maranatha Ministries
International (MMI) is a Christian non-profit, non- government organization
based in Jamaica with partners in the United States, Canada and South Africa.

the restoration of the “total man”, spiritually, mentally, and
physically. |

Our mission
MMI’s mission is for all nations to experience God’s
transforming power in a real and tangible way. MMI embodies God’s
Word:
Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works,
and glorify your Father
which is in Heaven.
Matthew 5:16
What we do
Maranatha Ministries International seeks to transform
lives and change destinies. Our International Teaching Ministry
delivers life-changing
messages to people from all walks of life through annual conferences,
workshops, seminars, crusades and radio & television programs.
Our Outreach and Counseling Ministry provides help to disadvantaged
groups such as the incarcerated, the homeless, abandoned children
and youth, as well as drug and chemical addicts. Trained Christian
Volunteers carry out remedial
education, job placement,
training, housing and counseling programs that have greatly
impacted the lives
of our
beneficiaries.
Our vibrant youth programs is a major tool for youth empowerment
through education and employment training. Our pre-school programs
based in Jamaica provides basic education with Christian instruction
to children up to age 5 years. We also offer remedial classes, homework
centers, skills and entrepreneurial training for older youth. Sports
and the arts (dance and drama) are essential tools to stimulate
and maintain learning among our youth.
Committed to Social Transformation
Maranatha Ministries International is firmly committed to social
transformation—the return of Godly values, morality, building
strong family lives, and improving the human condition. Increasing
poverty, rising crime and violence, declining moral values contribute
to an overwhelming sense of helplessness in our society. By God’s
grace, we aggressively pursue total restoration of the spiritual,
emotional, social and physical being in those we are able to reach.
Our various ministries in Jamaica and throughout the world reconcile
people to their Creator, as well as enables them to help others.
While delivering the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ, we
also meet the needs (i.e. food, shelter, training) and circumstances
of those with whom we work.
MMI also works with persons often regarded as “
social outcasts”— the homeless, the incarcerated, drug
and chemical addicts, and other vulnerable
