Associate Pastor Phillip & Melanie Warnock ~ Worship Leader Melanie Warnock
Phillip Warnock is the son of the late R.H. (Herbert) Warnock and Jerlene Warnock of Treutlen County. He is the youngest of six siblings. He married Melanie Mimbs of Cedar Grove, Georgia in 1980. They have three daughters: Amanda, Brittany and Ciera.
As a child he attended Red Bluff Baptist Church with his family and as a teenager he joined the church. He graduated from Treutlen High School in 1979. In 1985 at the age of 24, Phillip accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and was re-baptized. After being saved, he became Minister of Music and was ordained as a deacon on Sunday, November 15th, 1987. He was an active member at Red Bluff until June of 1996.
In June of 1996, God moved him and his family to the Soperton Church Of God. Phillip and his family became active members. He joined the choir, became Sunday school director, church treasurer, and member of the Pastor’s council. He preached his first sermon at the Soperton Church of God on Sunday, October 11th, 1998.
In April of 2000 God moved Phillip and his family to Life Outreach Church-Center. Phillip is sound technician, Sunday school teacher, and was ordained to the Gospel Ministry on Sunday, November 16th, 2003.
Phillip loves the Lord his God with all his heart, soul, and mind. He is a walking, talking miracle of God and a true worshipper of Jesus Christ. To God be the glory!!!

Melanie Warnock is the daughter of the late Reverend Melvin E. Mimbs and Carolyn Mimbs of Laurens County. She is the middle child of five siblings. She is singer and pianist for “The Mimbs Family” (A family Southern Gospel singing group). They have sung mostly around the Middle Georgia area. She graduated from West Laurens High School in Laurens County in 1980. She has played the piano for different churches, nursing homes, personal care homes, weddings, funerals, etc. since she was 11 years old. She was saved at 11 years old in her home church: Union Springs Baptist Church in Cedar Grove Georgia, and was baptized at Red Bluff Baptist Church in Treutlen County, (Her dad was Pastor there, then -1973). In November of 1980, she married Phillip Warnock of Treutlen County. They have three daughters: Amanda, Brittany and Ciera.
From 1980 – 1996, Melanie was an active member of Red Bluff Baptist Church. She was pianist, Sunday school teacher, and served on various other committees.
Melanie taught piano lessons to area adults and children for approximately fifteen and half years. (1986-2002)
From June of 1996 till March of 2000, she and her family were active members of the Soperton Church of God. Melanie was a choir member, pianist, and Sunday school teacher and became Praise and Worship leader in August of 1999.
In April of 2000 she and her family became active members of Life Outreach Church – Center. On May 7, 2000, Melanie led Praise and Worship for the first time and later became pianist and Praise and Worship leader.
Melanie is very proud of her family and gives God the glory for all He has done in their lives. Her whole family is involved with her ministry. Melanie believes we should worship in spirit and in truth.
Colossians 3:16-17 is one of her favorite scriptures for Praise and Worship:
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
